What are neodymium magnets?
Neodymium magnets are made from neodymium (Nd), iron (Fe) and boron
(B) and are the strongest magnets that currently exist. The energy
product of neodymium magnets is eight times stronger than that of
anisotropic ferrite magnets and they have excellent mechanical
strength. Since they rust easily, they are normally surface treated
with nickel plating. The disadvantages of neodymium magnets are
that they sensitive to heat and require careful handling. They are
